FG To Engage Kwam1 As Ambassador, Withdraws Charges Against Comfort Emmanson

The Federal Government has withdrawn its criminal case against Ms.Comfort Emmanson who was accused of unruly conduct aboard an Ibom Air flight and also lifted ban placed on popular Fuji musician Wasiu Ayinde Marshal.
Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development Festus Keyamo made the disclosure on Wednesday.
The minister said decisions were made after reassessing both incidents coupled with interventions from well meaning Nigerians.
He said Ibom Air has agreed to withdraw its complaint against Ms.Emmanson.
On the matter affecting Value Jet ,Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has reduced the ban placed on Kwam 1 to one month.
The minister also hinted that the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) will also engage the Fuji musician as ambassador.
Festus Keyamo also disclosed plans to schedule a retreat for Aviation staff on how to handle difficult passengers and conflicts as far as airspace is concerned
He added that the leniency extended was based on humanitarian grounds.
