Adelabu Declares Governorship Ambition In Oyo State

Minister of Power,Adebayo Adelabu, has announced his plans to contest for the governorship position in Oyo State come 2027.
This is confirmed in a video from APC stakeholders’ meeting where he was seen announcing his intention to govern Oyo state .
Adelabu declared that he had secured his position within the political circle.
“I’ve been on this journey for quite some time. I believe the rewards of politics don’t come the day you start. I’ve put in my efforts and earned my place. In 2019, I ran against Seyi Makinde, and again in 2023 as he held office as governor. But now, looking towards 2027, it’s clear that it’s my turn—it’s Adelabu’s moment to shine. Whatever belongs to me is shared with all,” he noted
The Power minister called for people of the state to support him in ensuring that the goal was achievable.
