Gov. Aiyedatiwa Inaugurates New TESCOM Members

The newly appointed members of Ondo State Teaching Service Commission, TESCOM, have been inaugurated.
The ceremony was held at the Governor’s Office, Alagbaka, Akure.
While inaugurating the members, the State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa reiterated the commitment of the present administration in the state to strengthening the state’s educational system through deliberate and sustained efforts.
Governor Aiyedatiwa urged the new TESCOM board to be fair, transparent, accountable and disciplined in the discharge of their duties especially with teachers posting.
The Governor commended the contributions of teachers in the state, emphasizing that they deserved more recognition and support.
He charged the board to prioritize capacity building and continuous training for teachers to enable them to deliver quality education using modern teaching techniques.
Responding, the new TESCOM Chairman, Dr Oludaisi Oke, appreciated the governor for his trust and confidence, assuring that the board would work tirelessly to transform the state’s educational system.
