The global vaccine alliance, Gavi, has announced plans to buy 500,000 doses of the mpox vaccine for Africa. According to the BBC, the delivery is expected later this year. It was gathered that Gavi also allocated $50 million to cover the costs of transportation, delivery, and vaccine administration across the continent.
