Super Eagles of Nigeria has been awarded all 3 points for the botched game with Libya earlier this month.
Nigeria had accused Libya of maltreatment upon arrival in the North Africa country for their return leg of the ongoing 2025 African cup of Nations qualifiers.
The match scheduled to hold on the 15th of this month was abandoned after the Super Eagles returned home following the alleged maltreatment.
However, The Confederation of African Football, CAF Disciplinary Board has now released a report of their investigation into the matter.
In the report, the board said Libya was found to have breach the CAF regulations.
It declared the match lost “by forfeit” by Libya by a score of 3-0.
The board also recommended that the Libya Football Federation to pay a fine of 50,000 dollars to be paid within 60 days of notification of the present decision.
