Osun APC Accuses Adeleke Of Lack Of Transparency On Project Funding

The All Progressive Congress, APC, Osun State Chapter, says the present administration of Senator Ademola Adeleke lacks adequate transparency on its source of funding, in view of the ongoing projects across the State.
The Director of Media and Publicity, APC, in the State, Chief Kola Olabisi stated this while addressing Newsmen in Osogbo the State Capital.
Chief Olabisi who explained that , the present administration had secretly obtained 10 Billion naira loan as indicated in the 2023 Financial Statement of the State, emphasized the need for Senator Adeleke to come out clear on the loan Status of the State .
Chief Olabisi Said ” we maintained that the Senator Ademola Adeleke-led government, in 2023, secretly obtained loans in the region of N10 billion. The 2023 audited financial statement attested to that fact in pages 60 and 61 of the document as it reveals the domestic debt profile of the state increased to N55.3 billion in 2023 from N46.8 billion the current administration met it in 2022. ”
On the State of the Education Sector, The Osun APC Spokesperson frowned at the refusal of the State Government to replace the sacked 1500 Teachers employed by Former Governor, Adegboyega Oyetola administration.
Chief Olabisi pointed out that a recent report by an private radio station exposed the rot in the education system in the state, hence the need to review it and implement suggestions offered by parents and education administrators to prevent total collapse of the critical sector.
He also implored the state government to emulate its counterparts who are not only implementing the national Minimum Wage to the letter, but are paying the new salary in arrears as well as providing other incentives to the workers to ameliorate the economic challenges.
