Oyo State’s Agricultural Revolution a Success Story – OYSADA DG

The Oyo State Government’s goal of revolutionising the agriculture sector is already a success story.
Direct General of the state’s Agribusiness Development Agency, OYSADA, Dr. Debo Akande gave the hint while appraising the performance of Governor Seyi Makinde in office.
Speaking at Agodi, Secretariat, Ibadan,Dr Akande who said the government had upgraded to mechanised farming to boost productivity and efficiency, acknowledged problems of food inflation across the country.
He noted that though the problem of food inflation was orchestrated by national policies,all hands must however be on deck to holistically embrace mechanised farming to promote agricultural industrialization.
Established in 2021,OYSADA is to support the Ministry of Agriculture in ensuring food security .
