Oyo Education Commissioner Pledges to End Hooliganism, Enforce Phone Ban in Schools

The Oyo state government has condemned hooliganism in public schools and has pledged to collaborate with law enforcement agencies to put an end to the scourge.
Oyo State Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology,Mr Segun Olayiwola stated this at the Omituntun 2.0 Inter-Ministerial briefing held at Agodi, Secretariat, Ibadan.
While highlighting efforts of the present administration in revamping the education sector in the state,the Education commissioner hinted that a series of government policies had yielded positive results in the sector.
Mr Segun Olayiwola who confirmed that support from partners and Old Students Associations were instrumental to meeting education needs across the state noted that the state would enforce the laws against the use of mobile phones in public schools to maintain sanity.
