Oyo New CP Assumes Office

The 48th Commissioner of Police, for Oyo command, Mr Femi Haruna has assumed office.
The new CP, Mr. Femi Haruna in his inaugural speech,vowed to leverage upon the achievements of his predecessor majorly in crime reduction.
Speaking with journalists, in his office at the Command Headquarters, Eleyele, Ibadan, the New Commissioner of Police reiterated the readiness of the police under his watch to work assiduously with other sister Security Agencies, credible informants and the Media to curb criminal activities.
Mr. Haruna promised a formidable partnership and strong collaboration with residents in Oyo State, urging them to always report any suspicious activities to the Nigeria Police which would act swiftly to the information.
The New Commissioner of Police, Oyo State Command commended his predecessor in office, Mr Johnson Adenola who was recently promoted to the position of Assistant Inspector general of Police, and the State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde for their contributions to the Security architecture of the State.
