Family Of Peluseriki Compound Appeals To Olubadan To Wade Into Mogaji Controversy

Family of Peluseriki Compound, Isale Osi Area, Ibadan, Oyo State has appealed to the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Ladoja and his Advisory Council to help wade into the issue of Mogaji of the Compound, saying, the Authentic Mogaji nominated by Peluseriki Compound is Yekeen Olaoye who hails from Olusidi lineage.
The Baale of Peluseriki Compound, Alhaji Waheed Oyetunji made the appeal while speaking with the newsmen in Ibadan.
Alhaji Oyetunji who maintained that, Mogaji Yekeen Olaoye was supported by all the family members as their Mogaji and received his Installation letter from the 42nd Olubadan of Ibadanland, late Oba Lekan Balogun, but expressed worry that another man, Ramoni Olatunde claimed to have also been installed as the Mogaji of the same Compound.
The family Head who alleged Mr Ramoni Olatunde of not being a member of the Peluseriki family, urged the Olubadan of Ibadanland to call him to order and should stop parading himself as the Mogaji of their Peluseriki Compound.
Others who spoke at the briefing, Alhaji Malik Lagoke and Mogaji Yekeen Olaoye said, the family is for peace and would work towards ensuring that their family name is not brought to disrepute.
