… Says The Governor is a promise keeper
The Lawmaker representing Atiba State Constituency and Chief Whip, Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Gbenga Oyekola has described Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde as a man of honour whose word is his bond, as evident in all the developmental projects across the State.
The Lawmaker who stated this while featuring on a Magazine Programme tagged “Gbàgede Oselu” ọn Broadcasting Corporation of Oyo State, BCOS, on Saturday, reeled out series of people-oriented programmes and projects executed by the Government in the State.
“Governor Makinde is a man of his word who never forget promises, though may be delayed but he will surely fulfill them. He is a leader I can follow to anywhere without looking back” Hon. Oyekola added.
The Oyo State House of Assembly Chief Whip commended the Governor for his disposition towards standing by the truth and readiness to stand against one Party system in the Country, urging him to continue to leave worthy legacies in the State and Nigeria in general.
Hon Oyekola assured Governor Makinde that Oyo State people would always remember him for his selflessness and inclusive approach to governance.
On account of his stewardship, Hon Oyekola who reeled out some of the Motions and Bills he had sponsored in the House, noted that, welfare of his Constituents remains his priority as he would always listen to their voice on issues that concern them.
Shortly after the programme, the Chairman, BCOS, Mrs Dotun Olaitan and the Management Committee of the Corporation received Hon Gbenga Oyekola and his entourage in her Office, where she commended the Lawmaker for being a man of integrity, experienced and Politician with fear of God.
Mrs Olaitan enjoined the Guest to continue doing his best for the State, particularly his Atiba Constituency which he holds in high esteem.
Responding, Hon Oyekola said, he would always appreciate BCOS for professionalism, balanced reportage and accurate dissemination of information to the public, saying its news and programmes are always of public interest.
He promised to keep on supporting the Station as a Lawmaker towards ensuring it maintains its standard in Broadcasting industry.
