Hon. Adebowale Adeyoju, popularly known as STEVO and an aspirant for Ibadan North Constituency II under the All Progressives Congress (APC), has paid a condolence visit to the family of the late Lawal Zakari, the Ward 10 Auditor, who reportedly died following a tragic car accident.
The visit, which took place at the deceased’s residence in Ibadan, was marked by an atmosphere of grief as party members, family, and sympathizers gathered to mourn the untimely passing of the grassroots party stalwart.
Hon. Adebowale Adeyoju described the late Zakari as a committed and dedicated member of the APC whose contributions to the growth and stability of the party at the ward level would not be forgotten.
Speaking during the visit, STEVO expressed deep sorrow over the incident, noting that the loss was not only painful to the immediate family but also to the entire APC family in Ibadan North and Oyo State at large.
He urged the bereaved family to take solace in the impactful life the late auditor lived and prayed for the repose of his soul.
Hon. Adeyoju also called on party faithful to remain united during this difficult time, emphasizing the need to support one another and uphold the values of compassion and solidarity.
He further prayed that God grants the family the strength to bear the irreparable loss.
In another development, Hon. Adebowale Adeyoju and his team visited ward 12 party stakeholders, Mr. Akinola Lukman, popularly known as “Equal Rights,” who has been hospitalized due to a leg injury.
Hon. Stevo however supported the party members with the sum of #100,000 for his medical bills.
