APATA, Peller To Grace Radio Nigeria News Appreciation Day

The News and Current Affairs Department of the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, FRCN, Ibadan Zonal Station, will tomorrow hold its 2025 appreciation day.
A statement jointly signed by the Chairman of the planning committee, Mrs. Olutola Daramola, and the Secretary, Miss Rasheedah Makinde, says the event, which will take place at studio one, Broadcasting House, Dugbe, Ibadan, will commence at 11 o’clock in the morning.
The Chairman of the occasion is a Renowned Osun-Based Philanthropist and Politician, Chief Peter Ogundeji, popularly known as APATA, while the Ayedero of Yorubaland and Former member of the House of Representatives, Chief Shina Peller, will deliver a lecture on the topic, “the media as a strategic partner in credible elections”.
The statement notes that, at the event, some Nigerians will be acknowledged for their meaningful contributions to the growth of journalism in the country.
The news appreciation day is an annual social gathering of the News and Current Affairs Department of the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, FRCN, where members of the department are appreciated, reflect on their activities in the past year, and unwind.
