The height of political desperation is now showing as Bimbo Adekanmbi, the Oyo APM gubernatorial candidate and stooge of Governor Seyi Makinde, has become a leech who must appear wherever Senator Sharafadeen Alli (BSA) is officially invited.
The latest such scenario was at Oke Agbara Yoruba Church, the church of late Prophet M.O. Olowere.
Senator Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli was officially invited as Chairman of the 37th anniversary of the Church. Senator Alli received a rousing and heart-warming welcome from worshippers who gathered in thousands at the Church auditorium.
But, Bimbo Adekanmbi, who was not officially invited, had to gate-crash the event and trek for over 10 minutes just to show his face and seek attention where he was not needed. He was like a traveller on the road side waiving for a cab to his unknown destinations.
The question is why the desperation of Hon. Bimbo Adekanmbi appears where he is not needed.
The reality is gradually dawning on Makinde’s stooge that he is no match for Senator Alli in the guber race. Alli is far ahead and remains the choice of the people of Oyo State.
Oyo people have rejected the Omikomi 3.0 Pro Max of Makinde, or the deceptive 7.0 he now calls himself after the ill-fated BCOS media chat.
You cannot gatecrash your way into people’s hearts. Acceptance is earned, not forced.
