Oyo Gets New Women Affairs Commissioner

Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde has relieved Mrs Toyin Balogun of her appointment as the Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Inclusion.

The Governor announced Alhaja Faosat Sanni as Mrs Balogun’s replacement.

Alhaja Sanni is to resume immediately as the Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Inclusion.

Governor Makinde, while thanking Mrs Balogun for her contributions to the development of the state, wished her success in her future endeavour.

Mrs Sanni, who had earlier served as the Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Inclusion from 2019 to 2023, was moved to the Ministry of Special Duties in 2023 before being recently redeployed to the Ministry of Trade, Industry, Investment and Cooperative.
