“Osun Will Be Among Nigeria’s Leading States If Elected” – APC Guber Candidate

The Governorship Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming election in Osun State, Mr. Bola Oyebamiji, has reeled out his development blueprint tagged the “Greater Osun Agenda,” outlining plans to reposition the state through institutional reforms, economic growth, and improved governance if elected.
Oyebamiji, a Former Commissioner for Finance, said his administration would basically focus on strengthening human capital development, enhancing economic competitiveness, and improving governance standards to place Osun among Nigeria’s leading states in the country
According to the APC Candidate, his administration would prioritize institutional continuity by ensuring that key development projects and public sector reforms are sustained beyond political tenures.
He explained that his administration will map out various approaches that would provide future administrations with stronger fiscal and structural foundations for continued development.
The Governorship hopeful also pledged to promote transparency and accountability in government through open budgeting, mandatory annual performance reports, and regular independent audits.
He added that legislative oversight and public access to government information would remain central to his administration.
Mr Oyebamiji further disclosed plans to modernize the state’s civil service by introducing digital governance systems, strengthening financial management practices, and promoting evidence-based decision-making.
According to him, government institutions must serve as instruments for socio-economic development rather than bureaucratic structures.
He maintained that his proposed policies would ensure that public investments, government programmes, and legislative reforms contribute directly to economic growth and improved welfare for residents.
The APC Governorship Candidate in Osun State assured the people of the State that his administration would be driven by accountability, measurable results, and inclusive prosperity if given the mandate.
