APC National Secretary, Bashiru Visits Gov Adeleke In Osun

The National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Senator Ajibola Bashiru, says the party is ready to work with Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, to secure wider support for President Bola Tinubu’s second-term bid ahead of the 2027 general election.
Senator Bashiru stated this while speaking with newsmen during a courtesy visit to Governor Adeleke at the Government House in Osogbo, the Osun State capital.
The APC National Secretary explained that, his visit was aimed at building broader support for President Tinubu across political party lines ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
He noted that Governor Adeleke had earlier endorsed President Tinubu for a second term and pledged to campaign for his re-election.
Senator Bashiru expressed confidence that Osun State would massively support the President for his re-election, noting that the APC secured 46 per cent of the votes in the last governorship election in the State.
He further urged APC members to put the last governorship election behind them, close ranks and work together to ensure victory for President Tinubu come 2027.
