Ibadan Kingmakers Nominate Oba Ladoja As New Olubadan

The Ibadan Kingmakers have appointed Otun Olubadan Oba Rashidi Ladoja as the new Olubadan of Ibadanland.
Oba Ladoja’s appointment was announced during the meeting of the Ibadan Kingmakers held at Olubadan Palace, Oke Aremo, Ibadan, Oyo State
The Balogun of Ibadanland, Oba Tajudeen Ajibola nominated Otun Olubadan, Oba Ladoja and seconded by the Osi Olubadan, Oba Eddy Oyewole while other Ibadan Kingmakers unanimously supported the nomination.
Present at the meeting
Include Otun Balogun, Oba Kolawole Adegbola, Ashipa Olubadan, Oba Abiodun Kola-Daisi, Osi Balogun of Ibadanland, Oba John Dada, Ekerin Olubadan, Oba Hamidu Ajibade, Ashipa Balogun, Oba Dauda Azeez.
Others were Ekarun Olubadan, Oba Adebayo Akande, Ekerin Balogun, Oba Akeem Adewoyin and Ekarun Balogun, Oba Sarafadeen Ali.
The recommendation of the Ibadanland Kingmakers is expected to be sent to the Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makindes for his final approval.
