Oyo Police Rescues Kidnapped Egyptian

Oyo state police command has announced the successful completion of a rescue operation which has led to the safety release of an Egyptian national kidnapped on Monday of September 8th, 2025, in the Alomoja area of idi Ayunre, Oyo state.
The Oyo state public relations officer Kayode Osifeso stated this a statement made available to press men on Tuesday. He said the operation which led to the successful rescue of the kidnapped Egyptian national was carried out within 24hrs of the abduction, an effort which he described as a testament to the resilience and dedicated officers and other inter agency collaborations.
Osifeso maintained that the commissioner of police in Oyo state CP Femi Haruna immediately directed a coordinated rescue initiative which swift into action following the incident. He noted that these efforts included gallant officers from 4PMF Ibadan, skilled command: intelligence operations and tactical operatives with local hunters and extensive collaborations with the Ogun state police command.
