Pupils, Students Resume For 2025/2026 Academic Session

After six weeks of academic vacation, public and private schools in Oyo state have resumed for 2025/2026 academic session.
Students were sighted dressed in new uniforms preparing for the new academic session.
Speaking with A4oradio, Principal, Estate High school, Akobo Ibadan Mrs. Esther Falola commended the Oyo state government under the leadership of Engr. Seyi Makinde for creating a friendly academic atmosphere in the state.
Mrs. Falola noted that all public and private schools have resumed in accordance with the directive from the government through the ministry of education, science and technology. She observed that academic activities started immediately and students were busy learning in their various classes.
She advised parents, guidance to provide necessary academic materials their wards will need to succeed in the new academic journey.
Commenting on the resumption, a private school owner Mr. Ibrahim Adisa said though schools have resumed but students turn out was still not encouraging as dearth of them seen present.

Recall that public and private schools in Oyo state went on holiday on the 31st July ,2025.
