Mother Of 6 Slumps In Court As Husband Files For Divorce

Drama ensued in an Area Court in Ilorin, Kwara State after a man, Ishaq Abdulganiyu insisted on ending his marriage with his wife, Mulikat Yusuf, leading to the sudden slumping of the latter.
The wife, Mulikat had earlier told the court that she was not ready to end her marriage, saying where would she leave for with the six children she bore for her husband.
However, the husband, Ishaq told the court that he was no longer interested in the marriage.
This made Mulikat go deep in thought as she walked out of the court, and thereafter slumped.
The court officials revived her after splashing water on her.
The presiding Judge, Mr Toyin Aluko, advised her to explore every opportunity within her reach to settle the misunderstanding between her and her husband.
The case was adjourned until December 10 for the report of settlement or hearing.
