Philanthropist, Amb. Romoke Ayinde Turbaned As Iya Adinni Quadiriyyah

The Central Council of Quadiriyyah, Ibadanland has turbaned the Chief Executive Officer, Kayrom Lee Group of Companies, Ambassador Romoke Ayinde as Iya Adinni Quadiriyyah.
The event, which was well attended by Islamic Scholars, Members of Islamic High School Old Students Association, politicians, government functionaries, friends and family was held at the premises of Mapo Hall, Oja’ba Area, Ibadan, Oyo State.
Others who were also turbaned were, Special Adviser to Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde on Security, who is a retired Commissioner of Police, Alhaji Fatai Owoseeni, as Baba Adinni Quadiriyyah, Arole Iba Oluyole, Alhaji Nureni Akanbi as Baba Isale Quadiriyyah and Alhaji Akeem Akogun as Aare Adinni Quadiriyyah.
Speaking at the turbaning ceremony, the Leader of Quadiriyyah in Oyo State, Sheikh Al-Khalifah, Muhydeen Najeemdeen said Ambassador Romoke Ayinde was conferred with the title due to her commitment and contributions to Islam and the society in general.
Sheikh Najeemdeen assured that the newly turbaned Islamic title holders would live up to expectations with a positive legacy, as the recipient of the noble titles in Quadiriyyah.
The Iya Adinni of Quadiriyyah of Ibadanland, who is also the Iyalaje Adinni of Oyo State, Ambassador Romoke Ayinde appreciated the group for honouring her with the title, noting that the position is not a joke as she would more brace up to ensure propagation of Islam and add more values to humanity.
She urged women to join hands together and be impactful live up to their responsibilities, saying the way they present themselves to the society, is the way the society will accept them.
All the title holders pledged to build on their existing contributions to the development of the society, ensuring peaceful coexistence and make their impacts more felt.
Earlier, the Chief Imam of Ibadanland and Grand Imam of Oyo State, Sheikh Abubakar Agbotomokekere prayed for Ambassador Romoke Ayinde and others, urging them to Always use their positions to better the lives of others.
Certificate was later presented to Ambassador Romoke Ayinde, Alhaji Fatai Owoseeni, Alhaji Nureni Akanbi and Alhaji Akeem Akogun.
