ADC In Turmoil As Obinna Faction Splits From David Mark Led Coalition.

Another faction within the African Democratic Congress (ADC), has emerged, claiming authenticity of the leadership of the party .
The faction has denied any alliance with the Senator David Mark coalition and Nafiu Bala faction.
The group, under the leadership of Don Norman Obinna, posed itself as the duly elected National Executive Committee members of the party
“The tenure of former National Chairman Ralph Nwosu who handed over the party to the David Mark group officially ended in August 2022. Nwosu has been clinging to power illegally, which triggered multiple litigations.” The group disclosed on Tuesday.
The group described Nwosu’s handover of the party to the opposition coalition as “an illegal act.”
In a series of key resolutions announced during the briefing, the Obinna-led faction dissociated itself from Senator David Mark’s coalition,rejected Nafiu Bala, and declared that the David Mark-led coalition are not members of ADC .
The group also affirmed that the party’s former Presidential Candidate, Dumebi Kachikwu, remains a bona fide member of the ADC.
