Ogun East Senatorial District APC Leaders Endorse Gov Abiodun As Consensus Candidate

As 2027 general election continues to gather momentum, stakeholders and leaders of the All Progressives Congress in Ogun East Senatorial District have unanimously endorsed the incumbent governor of the state Prince Dapo Abiodun as their consensus candidate for the 2027 senatorial election.
The endorsement was disclosed Monday at all stakeholders’ powerful meeting held in Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State.
The meeting was attended by party stakeholders and leaders saw elected officials, and grassroots representatives from across the district.
Addressing other stakeholders, former senator Lekan Mustapha expplained that the decision reflected a collective confidence reposed in the governor Dapo Abiodun unrivalled leadership style and ability to effectively represent Ogun East at the 11th assembly
Senator Lekan added that arrangements are underway to formally convey the endorsement to Governor Abiodun, including plans to support his nomination process.
Also speaking ,a member of the House of Representatives, Femi Ogunbanwo lauded the governor’s performance, expressing optimism that his representation would attract greater development to the district.
In attendance at the meeting were APC leaders and key decision makers.
