Just In: Court Adjourns El-Rufai’s Bail Application To June

As the embattled former governor of Kaduna State Mallam Nasir El-Rufai continues to answer questions on allegations bordering on financial crime and abuse of office, Justice Darius Khobo of the Kaduna State High Court has adjourned the bail hearing of the former Kaduna State governor to June,2026

El-Rufai had appeared before the court on the same alleged offences by the Independent Corrupt Practices and other Related Offences Commission (ICPC)earlier this month.

Speaking after the court session, counsel to the former governor, Ukpon Akpan, opposed the lingering adjournment of the bail hearing by one presiding judge, describing it as politically motivated.
