Workers Day: FG Declares Public Holiday.

To celebrate this year workers day, the Federal Government has declared Friday, 1st May 2026, a public holiday.
Minister of Interior, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo disclosed this on behalf of the Federal Government on Wednesday.
Dr. Tunji-Ojo who felicitated with workers across the country on this year’s celebration, commended Nigerian them for their hard work, resilience and dedication to national development.
The Minister while noting that the president is committed to workers welfares, encouraged them to embrace patriotism, productivity, and dedication to their duties.
