Suspected Fulani Herders Stab Farmer In Ilora

A farmer in Ilora Afijio local government area of Oyo state, is currently battling with his life after he was attacked by suspected Fulani herds men.

The victim, Sola Adepoju was said to have been stabbed by three fulani herdsmen while working on a farm.

According Mr. Kolawole Adepoju, the victim’s father, an attempt by Sola to prevent the herders’ cow from destroying the crops triggered aggression from the three herders who descended on him with multiple stabs.

Mr Adepoju said hospitals of first contact were not able to stabilize Sola due to severity of his injuries before he was eventually taken to Ogbomoso teaching hospital.

Troubled Adepoju also expressed anger alleging that one of the cows impounded was released by the Police
