Afrobeats superstar, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has said that his Uncle’s victory in the just concluded governorship election in Osun State was a war against political big wigs in the country.
described the re-election of his uncle, Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, as a remarkable victory achieved against formidable political opposition.
Davido, who spoke with journalists on Tuesday said his Uncle,the incumbent governor of the state, was faced with 17 governors and 50 senators.
He described the contest as a difficult battle, claiming that several prominent political figures rallied against the incumbent governor.
“Let me congratulate my governor for his re-election for the hard-fought battle. Let me not say battle but war, where you have 17 governors, 50 senators, House of Reps, I don’t know how many they were against one man and he came out victorious. God is good,” Davido said.
