Property Owners On Ibadan Circular Road To Appear For Verification Exercise

Landed property owners in Oyo State affected by the Circular Road project who are yet to collect their compensation are expected to appear for compensation verification.

‎Commissioner for Lands, Housing, and Urban Development, Mr. William Akin-Funmilayo, made the call during the disbursement of cheques to the fourth batch of those affected by the road project.

Speaking, the Commissioner said the government had instructed the ministry to ensure that affected residents are captured in the disbursement, adding that 192 out of the 298 enumerated households in the affected area have come out for verification.

Mr Akin-Funmilayo maintained that the government would publish the list of those who are yet to claim their compensation to ensure transparency and accountability.
