Police Arrest Man For Assaulting Wife

The Nigeria Police Force,Ogun Police Command has arrested Fatai Quadri ,a man who was captured assaulting his wife, Rukayat Quadri in a viral video.
Fatai was seen in the video hitting his wife,leaving her with wounds .
A statement by the PPRO ,Omolola Odutola notes that arguments over allegations of infidelity led to the fracas.
The man was said to have transferred ownership of a 10-roomed en-suite apartment, jointly owned by the couple, to another woman,a situation which led to escalation.
The statement indicates that the suspect will be charged to court upon conclusion of investigation.
It urges the public to promptly report all forms of violence or threats to the nearest police station for immediate action.
The statement adds that the State Commissioner of Police, CP Lanre Ogunlowo has zero tolerance for domestic violence, warning that anyone found culpable of such an act will face legal action.
