Viral Video : Police Deploys Troop To Ajebo Community In Ogun State

Ogun State residents have been charged to remain calm, vigilant, and desist from sharing unverified information .
The Commissioner of Police, Lanre Ogunlowo gave the advice while deploying officers to Ajebo community in Obafemi-Owode Local Government following a viral video circulating on social media that herdsmen were preparing to unleash violence on the host community.
Ogunlowo noted that the operatives deployed to undertake thorough intelligence assessment in the community reported that no arms or suspicious activities were detected during the operation.
He maintained that the Fulani settlers in Ajebo were not hostile migrants but long-standing residents, living peacefully within the community.
The Commissioner gave assurance that a combined team of security agencies would be maintaining surveillance within the forest area for precautionary measures,urging them to go on with their daily business without fear and panic .
