International Women’s Day: School Administrator Charges Women on Self Confidence

As Nigerians joins other countries in the world to to mark and celebrate this year International Women’s Day, a school administrator Mrs. Elizabeth Adedigba has called on women and girls to rise with confidence, courage and determination as the world continues to push for greater gender equality.
Speaking during an interview to commemorate the global celebration, Mrs. Adedigba described women as “powerful agents of change” who play vital roles in families, communities and national development.
This year’s International Women’s Day focuses on accelerating progress toward gender equality and empowering women to achieve their full potential.
According to her the theme serves as a reminder that society must continue to create opportunities for women to thrive in education, leadership, business and other areas of life.
She noted that although women have made significant progress over the years, more efforts are still needed to ensure equal opportunities. “Women should not limit themselves,” she said.
“With determination, education and support from society, every woman can achieve greatness” Mrs Elizabeth explained
She also encouraged young girls to believe in themselves and pursue their dreams regardless of the challenges they may face.
The school administrator emphasized the importance of education, mentorship and self-development in building confident and independent women.
Highlighting the role of families , Mrs Adedigba urged parents and leaders to support the aspirations of girls and women to achieve their future goals .
She said empowering women ultimately leads to stronger families, better communities and a more prosperous nation.
