No Bandits In Ila LGA – Osun Police Command

The Osun State Command of the Nigeria Police Force has refuted claims that there are Bandits or unlawful groups hiding in Omi Fifun, Ila Local Government Area of the State.
The Command’s Public Relations Officer, Mr Abiodun Ojelabi discarded the claims while speaking with journalists in osogbo, following a viral video with the information that bandits have stormed Omi Fifun, Ila Local Government Area of the State.
Mr Ojelabi explained that the intelligent teams of the Force are working round the clock to ensure every part of the State is secured against Bandits and Insurgents.
He stressed that ,the incident occurred about a month ago when some traders from Omi Fifun travelled to a Market in Kwara State for business transaction .
Mr Ojelabi who explained that the Police had made an On the Spot assessment to the Community, maintained that, the Commissioner of Police, Mr. Ibrahim Gotan had directed the deployment of seven tactical teams to ensure there is no loopholes in Omi Fifun or its environs.
He added that, The Police is also collaborating with Amotekun and Forest Guards to ensure water tight security in the Community.
