Oyo Govt To Digitalize Building Survey Plans

The Oyo State Government has reeled out plans to commence a new digital system for building/survey plan approval.
The Commissioner for Lands, Housing, and Urban Development, Hon. Williams Akin-Funmilayo dropped this hint on Monday during the meeting with all zonal directors of town planning offices in Oyo State at the Ministry Conference Room.
While speaking at the meeting, Hon. Akin-Funmilayo noted that the New Digital Process marked a new development in urban management and infrastructural regulation.
He maintained that the new development would put an end to all forms of leakages and irregularities that manual operations had established in the past.
Honourable Williams explained further that the new digital building plan approval system will be more transparent, traceable and makes accountability possible.
He said the new digital building plan approval system will abolish the traditional way of doing things.
Hon. Akin-Funmilayo while reaffirming the determination of the present administration under the able leadership of governor Seyi Makinde to protect lives and properties of Oyo state residents ,enjoined the task forces and enforcement departments at the Physical Planning to step up their monitoring operations and clamp down on all developers or individuals violating planning regulations. He assured citizens of the state that the new digital plans will be efficient and effective without compromise
He called on all property owners to support the state government by adhering strictly to this new development.
