Osun 2026: PDP Missing As INEC Releases Candidates’ List

As governorship election in Osun State scheduled to hold on August 8 ,2026 draws nearer, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has released the final list of candidates for all the political parties as candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP ) and Labour Party (LP) were found missing.
A statement issued by INEC Public Relations Officer in Osun State Musa Oluride , the cleared parties include Accord (A), Action Alliance (AA), African Action Congress (AAC), African Democratic Congress (ADC), Action Democratic Party (ADP), All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).
Others included All Progressives Congress (APC), Allied Peoples Movement (APM), Action Peoples Party (APP), Boot Party (BP), New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Peoples Redemption Party (PRP), Young Progressive Party (YPP), and Zenith Labour Party (ZLP).
Recall that the last governorship election in Osun state was held on August 16, 2022.
