Suspected Bandits Abduct 3 In Ogun State

In Ogun State, three persons have been reportedly abducted by suspected bandits who invaded Ipojo Golden Estate in the Oke-Eri Area, Ijebu-Ode.
The Abductees were identified to be two women and a man from the same family, and were said to have been whisked away during the attack.
Witnesses reported that about 15 armed men stormed the Estate with sophisticated weapons, forcefully entered a Residence, ransacked the building and abducted the victims.
The Head of the family, Mr Yesiru Badewa, who was away on an official duty when the incident occurred, expressed concern over the health condition of one of the Victims, appealing to security agencies and individuals to assist in securing their prompt release.
Confirming the incident, the Police Public Relations Officer,. PPRO, Ogun State Command, Mr Oluseyi Babaseyi, said the command had intensified tactical and intelligence operations to rescue the victims unhurt and arrest the perpetrators.
Mr Babaseyi assured residents of the command’s commitment to combating kidnapping and other violent crimes in the State.
