2027: Folarin, Adelabu, Buhari Hold Closed-Door Meeting In Ibadan

Four prominent leaders of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Oyo State have held a closed-door meeting in Ibadan, in what is believed to be part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the party ahead of the next year general election.
At the meeting were, former Senate Leader and Oyo State Renewed Hope Ambassador, Senator Teslim Kolawole Folarin; former Minister of Power, Chief Adebayo Adelabu; Senator representing Oyo North Senatorial District, Senator Abdulfatai Buhari; and former Deputy Governor of Oyo State, Engineer Rauf Olaniyan.
Although details of the meeting were not made public as of the time of filing this report, sources familiar with the meeting hinted that the APC Chieftains deliberated on strategies to reposition the party and foster greater unity among its leaders and members with a view to delivering the State for President Bola Tinubu at the 2027 Presidential election.
The source disclosed that the APC Stalwarts reaffirmed their commitment to working together in the interest of the party, emphasizing the need for effective grassroots mobilisation, strengthening Party structure and sustained engagement with party faithful across the State and re-elect President Tinubu for another term.
As at the time of filing this report, none of the Leaders had made official comment on the outcome of the meeting.
