Oyo Govt To Conduct Staff Audit In Oke Ogun Polytechnic

The Oyo state government has inaugurated the Staff Audit and Verification Committee for the Oke Ogun Polytechnic, Saki, TOPS.
Speaking at the inauguration held at the Scholarship Board Room, ministry of education secretariat , Ibadan on Monday, the commissioner for Education, Science and Technology Hon. Olusegun Olayiwola said the verification exercise is vital to building a precise database for the institution’s staff.
Hon. Olayiwola spoke that the verification process will no doubt enhance accurate planning, budgeting and adequate provision of infrastructure, while positioning the Oke-Ogun Polytechnic to favourably compete with other Polytechnics in the country.
The commissioner expressed that the committee has been carefully selected based on integrity, professionalism, dedication and in tandem with public service rules. He charged them to be diligent and see their selection as a call to service for the upliftment of the institution.
In her remarks, permanent secretary, ministry of education, science and technology Mrs. Bamidele Oyinloye lauded the committee members for their willingness to contribute meaningfully to raising education standards at the Polytechnic
The TOPS governing council chairman, Dr. Bisi Ojebola described the inauguration as call to dedication to duties , noting the importance of accurate statistics and data in achieving best results.
