Man Bags Jail Term For Stealing Over N2m From Ex-Manager

A Chief Magistrate court sitting in Oyo town has sentenced a man,Adegoke Adewale to one year imprisonment.
The twenty -five year old Adegoke was found guilty of stealing charges brought against him.
Adewale, an ex – staff of a filling station in Owode Oyo town, broke into the office of the manager and carted away over two million naira.
The prosecutor, Fola Osegbade told the court that the accused bought a new Bajaj motorcycle from the proceeds of the theft, which was presented in court as an exhibit.
Adewale was also said to have bought a Nokia phone on instalments.
Trial Magistrate Giwa Babalola found the accused guilty as charged and sentenced him without option of fine.
