… Affirms Support For President Tinubu’s 2027 Re-election
The Oyo APC Peace Advocates, led by its Convener, Prince Niran Adeyoju (SDM), have joined other stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Iseyin and Akinyele for unity rallies aimed at strengthening party cohesion and affirming support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election bid in 2027.
The rallies, which attracted party leaders, elders, youths, women groups, ward executives, and supporters from across the two local government areas, were organised to promote unity, reconciliation, and collective commitment to the ideals of the APC ahead of future political engagements.
Addressing party faithful at the rallies, Prince Adeyoju described the gatherings as strategic and timely, noting that unity remains the backbone of a strong and progressive party.
He said the APC Peace Advocates was established to foster internal harmony, discourage factionalism, and promote peaceful political participation across Oyo State.
According to him, President Tinubu’s administration has initiated bold economic reforms and governance policies aimed at stabilising the nation and laying a solid foundation for sustainable development, adding that continuity in leadership would ensure the consolidation of these reforms.
Other APC leaders who spoke at the events called on members to close ranks, put personal differences aside, and work collectively for the growth of the party at the grassroots.
They stressed that a united APC would be better positioned to reclaim political strength in Oyo State and deliver dividends of democracy to the people.
The unity rallies featured solidarity songs, chants, and the display of APC symbols, as participants openly declared their loyalty to the party and reaffirmed support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election in 2027.
The events in Iseyin and Akinyele ended with renewed calls for peace, sustained stakeholder engagement, and continuous mobilisation ahead of future electoral contests.
