Presidential Aide Slams Atiku For Calling President ‘Bola’

The Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Media and Public Communication, Chief Sunday Dare, has fired back at the former Vice-President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar for repeatedly referring to the President as “Bola”, describing the address as “the height of insolence”.
Chief Dare made the remark in a statement on Saturday while reacting to the recent comments by Alhaji Atiku while fielding questions from the Press in Abuja.
During the Press Conference, Alhaji Atiku had reportedly urged President Tinubu to adopt his proposal for government intervention to reduce the price of petrol, saying the President could rename the initiative and take credit for it if it would reduce the burden on Nigerians.
According to him “Bola Tinubu should not be ashamed to do what is necessary to lower the price of petrol simply because Atiku Abubakar proposed a government intervention.
Calling the President “Bola” has since been generating reactions and criticisms from some quarters, including Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Mr Festus Keyamo.
