PDP Wins Ibadan North Federal Constituency By-Election.

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has declared Mr Folajinmi Oyekunle, candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP,as the winner of the just concluded Ibadan North Federal Constituency by-election.
The Returning Officer, Professor Abiodun Oluwadare said Oyekunle polled 18,404 votes to defeat Mr Adewale Olatunji,the All Progressives Congress candidate who polled 8,312 votes,as the closest rival.
The election was held in 12 Wards and the 521 polling units of Ibadan North Federal Constituency.
Recall that the death of a former lawmaker, Mr Olaide Aderemi necessitated the by-election to fill the vacant seat.
